Dr. Brittain is an Internal Medicine physician at the Texas Medical Center and serves as a Hospitalist with the Medical Center Hospitalist Associates.
He is trained in Surgery and Internal Medicine and is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of The American College of Physicians and The American Medical Association.
Internal medicine physicians, or internists, are specialists who apply scientific knowledge and clinical expertise to the diagnosis and treatment to a spectrum of health concerns to complex illness. They are especially well trained in the diagnosis of puzzling medical problems, the treatment of the acutely ill and critically ill patient, in the ongoing care of chronic illnesses, and in caring for patients with more than one disease.
